I have noticed that resizable text areas (like page TS configuration) is unable to scale correctly if the vertical scrollbar is shown... the problem exists in Safari 5.0.3 and Chrome 9 on mac - but the problem is probably a general webkit issue.

The only way to get out of resize mode, is to either scale width to the minimum width or reload the page.

I have also tested FF 3.6 without problems

Please note that the problem only exists if the vertical scrollbar is visible

Hi,

as this issue is very old. Does the problem still exists within newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (6.1.7)?

Hi Alexander,

While the report is old, it seems that there is still an issue, although it is directly coupled to the amount of text, but rather the resize event.
It is easier to get of the resize bug now than it was when I first reported the issue - but nevertheless it's a bit annoying.

I just did a simple test in Chrome 33 using TYPO3 6.1.7 and if I resize a resizeable field to the edge of the browser - the field doesn't leave resize mode until I click somewhere on the canvas.
