Description

Using TCEmain::processDatamap or processCmdMap in a custom BE module, editors could insert or update records using the TCEmain API.

However, there's no feedback, if the editor has no access to modify this table (according to the BE group Acess Lists).

In this case an Exception should be thrown.

Demo in the attached extension. Create a user, who has access to the Page table, but not to tt_content.

Hi,

as this issue is very old. Does the problem still exists within newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (6.2.3)?
