title tag for extension content in RTE Link Browser if croped

Description
Hi,
e.g.:
i use tt_news and like to link a news inside RTE.
if the title of a news ist longer as 30 it will be croped.
if i search for a news and get more then one result, it would be nice, if the whole title could be displayed in the title tag of the link.
Same is used in default typo3 page for displaying extension entries

Do you insert the link using the linkhandler extension?

Hi,
i dont' use linkhandler.
Found out, that every user can change "Max. Title Length" in his settings, but if he doesn#t change it, he will not be able to see the whole news title.
BUT: It would be nice if the whole title would be displayed like in CE of Page.

Hi,
as this issue is very old. Does the problem still exists within newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (6.1)?

Hi, use Typo3 4.7 atm. If its fixed in 6.1 u can close this. Thanks

So please try it with a newer version. For TYPO3 CMS 4.7.x we will only fix security issues.
