In TYPO3 RC1 the content elements of HTML Type defined in TypoScript arent't shown in the frontend.

you mean the cObj HTML? this has been removed, use cObj TEXT

Ok this explainsy many... :-) Thanks for your hint. Does the 'new' TEXT cObj allows html tags in the value?

Value always allows you to insert HTML tags. By the way HTML is/was deprecated since 4.6 because you never needed it.

As explained the HTML content object was removed because it was hardly ever used and could easily be replaced by the TEXT object with minor changes (the TEXT object has the stdWrap properties on the rootlevel of the object, HTML has them below the stdWrap property).
