Bug #43570
closedTER upload shows error message in spite of successfull upload
0%
Description
I just uploaded 5 identical versions of the ExtensionBuilder due to that bug.
I saw Kay Strobacher reported the same bug (in the v4 mailing list) already in January.
Since the "old" extension manager is the only possibility at the moment to upload extensions to TER and since there is no way to prove if the upload was successful than to wait for one day this should be fixed IMHO
A screenshot of the error message is attached...

Same problem here, TYPO3 4.7.4 on Windows Server 2008, PHP 5.3.15.
Even sometimes the uploads seems to have succeeded, but then when you try to download from TER you get md5 error.
Could you please help such that uploading to TER works again?
State of my Extension toctoc_comments is currently in fact "uninstallable because of TER problem".
Hope it will be ok soon.
Until then current version can be downloaded as t3x-file and installed in EM after download from www.toctoc.ch/fileadmin/download/T3X_toctoc_comments-3_0_1-z-201212071212.t3x

The error Gisele reports is probably a different one, since in my case the download is working fine. The error message is only shown when uploading

Download works perfectly and I receive same error messages like Nico when uploading.
Also it seems the extension is uploaded in spite of the error messages.
In my last post I just added that the uploaded extension (when error messages in EM occur) might be impacted by a md5-hash-problem.
The md5-hash problem might be a different one - ok, but the problem when uploading is the same.
It looks like a capacity problem/timeouts on the server and the reply to the client is just not handled correctly on the client side.
btw: But for toctoc_comments the situation on TER is ok now 12/8/2012, 12'00, somehow version 3.0.6 made it's way - thank you Santa Claus behind the Clouds:-)

Does the upload still doesn't work/does the error still occurs? I think they t3o team had some troubles with the TER some days ago.
You can also give the Typo3ExtensionUtils a try to upload the extension (a "standalone" script to upload extensions to the TER): https://github.com/etobi/Typo3ExtensionUtils
