TCA: Suggest wizard add only the first entry from suggest list

Description
Only the first record from the suggest list will be add to the selectorbox. Even when more then one entry is found, and more selected, only the first entry, after click on some data record, will be added to the selectorbox.
After saving the site with the "false" data records, close and reopen the right data records will be shown.
Also found in default installation: http://introduction.typo3cms.demo.typo3.org for all Searchfields with ajax - suggest function.

I wrote a patch for this strange behaviour. somehow Element.select doesn't apply the right context and so finds the wrong element.

This bug also occurs with TYPO3 4.7.14 and 4.7.15. I will test the patch and report back.

While I could not get the patch to apply automatically, manually applying the patch solves the issue on 4.7.15 (and .14, I presume)
