Extension manager - loader overlay stays active after error message

Description

If we try to download some extension the main backend area is covered by layer that shows loader animation. If the extension is not compatible with current TYPO3 version the error message shows up (see first attached file). After few seconds this message is gone but the layer with loader stays active (see second attached file) and we need to reload Em or change action from list to get it to normal view.
