"Check Extensions" - strange behavior

Description
After migration from 6.1.6 to 6.2.0beta3 on a minimalistic system with only 6 extensions (gridelements, news, static_info_tables plus 3 of mine) I get very strange results after hitting “Check Extensions” button in Install Tool.
On one click everything seems to be ok
Doing it again, it marks “News” as incompatible
Doing it again, it marks “News” and “Nittygritty” (one of mine, which isn't active) as incompatible.
Next try: Get rid of Gridelements
and so on.
Hitting “uninstall” here seems to solve the replicating problem, but in the Extension Manager they are still marked as “active”.

This problem is gone if you don't do an upgrade, but use a fresh installation.
