Description

I just tried to set up a TYPO3 6.2.0beta4 installation from scratch. (Source from http://get.typo3.org/6.2, fresh/empty database). The Install-Tool steps went without a hitch, as soon as I tried to enable system extensions in the Extension Manager I hit problems with the system extensions supposedly not being compatible with the TYPO3 Core version. The exact Exception/Error Message is:

Your TYPO3 version is lower than necessary. You need at least TYPO3 version 6.2.0

This error occurs with the following extensions:
  • beuser
  • css_styled_content
  • form
  • rtehtmlarea
  • setup
  • tstemplate
  • info_pagetsconfig
  • impexp
  • viewpage

I haven't tried any other system extensions but I guess it happens on most of them. As the Extension Manager is right - 6.2.0beta4 is lower than 6.2.0 - I would suggest that the version requirements of the system extensions match the core version (at least during development phase).

I will close this one down.
We are aware of the problem and are working on a solution which touches a bigger part that this symptom.
