Description

Hi,

Actually with TYPO3 6.2, when i'm the draft, and i create i new record. In list mode, when i see all the records, there is nothing to tell me which record is in live mode, and which one is in the draft and needs to be published. I know we have the workspace module to see the records waiting to be published. But, i would be really helpful to see it also in list mode.

Example : If a record is created in draft mode, and doesn't yet exist in live mode, the background of this record can be red in the list.
And if a record exists in both live and draft, but has been modified in the draft, his background color could be then orange (or any other color or differentiation ...)

What do you think ?

Rejected for now - as workspaces and list module are special targets for overhaul especially from an UX perspective. So an implementation of this special feature is likely to be thrown away during that step. Further more there would be following ups (wishes) for this very feature request which would make it a complex beast with no other reason than showing the workspace state. (imagine one-click-publishing in list mode, diff view in list mode, and so on).

Another reason is the already existence of the workspaces module as mentioned above.
