Description

What do you think about adding bootstrap support to all typo3 content elements by adding a bootstrap-styled-content?

This should include features like:
  • responsive support for images
  • bootstrap-like class names for layouting
  • Bootstrap Menu Support
  • easier support of bootstrap included elements
  • ...

Most of the template-packages in Typo3 change the default rendering to achieve compatibility.

Cons:
  • Bootstrap is not the only front-end-framework

I prefer Zurb Foundation (which BTW has Interchange, that is an even better support for responsive images, as it handles the loading of different images for different viewport sizes)

I think that TYPO3 should remain as much agnostic as possible about the CSS framework; the only thing I would include as default would be normalize.css

+1 for staying neutral

Yes. we won't do that for the frontend output due to the nature of keeping up-to-date with their releases.
