Description

Reproduce:
  1. Go to install tool
  2. create a backend admin user foo-bar
  3. try to login - not possible
  4. try to create that user again. You will get a error message 
    Administrator user not created
A user with username foobar exists already.
  5. try to login with foobar as username - works.

The User has been created without the -.
If the user is created in the backend everthing is fine.
