viewDomain with http website in an https backend

Description
I call the backend via https and manage multiple websites in a typo3 6.2 instance. If the viewDomain for a website is set with http, this page is still loaded with https in an new browser tab. Is there a possibility to preview/view http pages from a https backend?

Please try to use the TSConfig option TCEMAIN.previewDomain
Example: TCEMAIN.previewDomain = http:://domain.tld
There is a known bug with this option in ext:viewpage. Should be resolved with https://review.typo3.org/#/c/41095/1

for me its not working. view http sites from an https backend is not possible. not even with the previewDomain TSConfig

Can you check the in the source code, at the point in the given patch link, if TCEMAIN.previewDomain is configured at this point?

i rechecked my TSConfig, now it works with TCEMAIN.previewDomain. THX!!
