You can’t make new scheduler tasks, or even edit an existing one, if the Extension t3chimp is installed.
Every time you click on "new" in the Backend module "Scheduler", you'll stay on the same Page

no issue on clean installation, must be due to t3chimp like you guessed already. So there is nothing the TYPO3 CMS core can do for you. Issue is closed.
