Pagetree jumps to last opened page when expanding

Description
Using the pagetree in a large website (10.000+ pages), sometimes it acts weird.
When i am in a subsection and have clicked a page (page module), i scroll down to another section of the site and try to expand some subpages, what then happens is the page tree expands but also jumps all the way back up to my last opened page, which is very disorienting for the user.
Happened in 4.5.x and still happens in 6.2.14

The pagetree jumps to the last selected page item, if you expand another tree you always get back to your last selected item.
So you should select the page you will expand, so you jump to this one after expanding. Is this enough as workaround for you?
