Description

With Typo3 6.2 the validation error messages of the FORM content is hardcoded here : /typo3/sysext/frontend/Resources/Public/JavaScript/jsfunc.validateform.js
It should be possible to translate messages elsewhere.

In fact it seems I can modify the message but I can't find where.

You should think about moving to EXT:form and get rid of the old form extension which is has been replaced by EXT:form since 4.6. Just install the sysext and you can build forms even with a wizard. When upgrading to 7 LTS you get an even better EXT:form since it was rewritten and is now based on Extbase and Fluid.
