It is not possible to use the backend - especially the "List" module in the backend on an iPad.
I cannot scroll on the right side there the data records are displayed - with "extended view" i even reach the button to open the right side in a new tab
All TYPO3 Versions till version 7 are concerned - at version 6 i told my customers that it will work most likely.

You are right, up until version 8.4 TYPO3 Backend is not responsive enough to be used with a tablet or a smartphone. Please read the release announcement for this version. There will be no backport to version 7.
