Extbase subclasses do not work with non string database type fields

Description

If the field that identifies the "type" of a record is a numeric value the extbase "subclasses" configuraiton does not work due to a strict comparison between the stringish TypoScript Configuration and the numeric database value.

So it is not possible currently to use extabse subclasses with the pages table as the doktype field of pages is an integer.
