I'm developing a TYPO3 distribution with some extension dependencies. When I open LocalConfiguration.php before installing the distribution extension, I can see, that the extConf array gets updated with the configuration of each extension. Unfortunately, when the next extension is installed automatically, the extConf information of the previous extension is gone and so on.

This part of the code has completely been rewritten in recent versions (not the least of which with #83666) and is behaves more reliably now.
