Workspace Flexform file_reference

Description
Unfortunately, the image field in a flexform element does not work within the workspace. When publishing changes, the area in the frontend simply remains empty. Also the thumbnails are not generated. The field works without workspace. Please take a look at the screenshots.

Update: The problem only occurs when updating a record. When I create a new record, the file is correctly embedded in the field.
