Missing "active icon" marker in TCA selectIcons

Description
Up to TYPO3 6.2, when a TCA field of type "select" had selectIcons assigned to it, the "active" icon was marked with a little triangle (see screen).
Since 7.6, this marker has gone missing. You can't see which icon is the "active" (selected) icon in TYPO3 7.6 or 8.7.
It's no biggie, but a small enhancement of the user interface, which shouldn't be that hard to bring back. It doesn't have to be a triangle, the "active" icon could be highlighted by other means, i.e. a border.
