Given this template:

    <f:section name="foo">
        {abc}
        <f:widget.paginate objects="{1:'foo', 2:'bar'}" as="obj">
        {abc}
        </f:widget.paginate>
        {abc}
    </f:section>

    <f:alias map="{abc: 'outer'}">
        <f:render section="foo" arguments="{abc: 'inner'}" />
    </f:alias>

Instead of seeing inner three times, the middle {abc} inside the pagination widget produces outer.
