TCEFORM duplicate button - no modal box?!

Description
Having the duplicate button i TCEFORM configured for i.e. tt_content gives me the oppotunity to duplicate the content at hand.... - that's fine.
Just wondering why there is no modal box showing when clicking the button?
If I - by accident - click the button the content will be duplicated and I will edit the newly created element - that' very confusing in my mind?!!?!?

Hi, I'm not sure what kind of modal box you expect. In case you click the duplicate button while having unsaved changes, following modal appears:
Otherwise, no modal appears. This is the same behaviour as for e.g. the "New" button, which also creates a new record. IMO this is correct as it's consistent with the rest of the backend. Creating records does never require a confirmation - additional click.
