Bug #103401
closedBackendLogo in composer setup
0%
Description
I did a composer installation of TYPO3 V12.4.12 with the web-dir set to .build/public ("web-dir": ".build/public").
Then i did set the backendLogo: 'backendLogo' => 'EXT:mysite/Resources/Public/Icons/alfabeta.svg'.
The Result: the logo did not appear...
Then i moved the backendlogo to fileadmin: 'backendLogo' => 'fileadmin/alfabeta.svg' with the desired result.
Firefox's Dev-Tools-Inspector says, that he can't load the picture (invalid path...).
It works fine in other setup (web-dir set to public).

thanks for creating the issue!
did you add the directory Resources/Public
of your site package after installing the extension? then it doesn't work as the symlink in the directory _assets
is created when installing extensions and not on the fly.
you can also test if alternative logos, e.g. EXT:backend/Resources/Public/Icons/Extension.svg
work.
do solve it: you can use IMHO composer dump-autoload
or reinstall any other extension and it should work fine

Thanks for the advise. OK it was only a Problem of this particular Installation, not a general issue. You can close this issue.
