Description
We must display date last run of the report and it's age (3 days ago).
The display should be highly visible to help editors understand the difference between "Refresh display" that doesn't check links on-demand and the "Check links" (live) button.
Since many tasks could be use with the Scheduler, we can't rely on last run task. We also got the case where a task could be set to validate a part of the tree with 2 level deep and another one starting at level 3 or infinite. Going to the same page, which date to show would be impossible to decide...
Solution: Add a new column in the report and DB field "Last check" for each broken link.
- Assignee set to Michael Miousse
- Status changed from New to Needs Feedback
last check added to the broken link informations, second check needed and comments
looks good from my perspective - lets see what SK says
Michael's change is in r40101. I tested it: It works correctly and solves the problem. You now know exactly, when each row was updated.
I also saw that the meaning of the buttons "Refresh display" and "Check links" was not clear enough.
To improve that I additionally put a short explanation at the top; see #11799. We now explain the user that the results he sees there come from a cache and that the button "Check links" updates that cache.
I also put a note concerning the usage of this button (impact on performance) in the manual. And I added a note on when to use the scheduler instead.
Together with the column added here, the issue reported here is done now.
So we are fine with this one.
