Error 404 when adding a new content element

Description

When I try to add a new content element on top of the list view of content elements, I get an error 404:

The requested URL /typo3/typo3/sysext/cms/layout/db_new_content_el.php was not found on this server.

It seems that the main path typo3/ isn't set correctly in this case. Any other way of creating a new content element works fine.

I can't reproduce the error.

Could you please provide a more precise description?

What EXACTLY do you mean with "on top of the list view of content elements"?

I've upgraded a second installation to typo3.6.0 to check the bug. And voilà: The bug isn't there. (??)

What seems really strange to me is that the wrong path only occurs when clicking on this button (see image). All other links are ok.
