Description
Run install script, install sample db into tx3_quickstart.sql, 1.2.3 script processes to end.
Offers choice between FE page & BE page
When Clicking on FE page, menu colum on left loads then main frame blanks and Apache kicks you in the guts with a fatal error message. If you click the BE link, and get a user/password log in page you will get an error processing directive line on the top left of the browser document window, if you try alt_menu you can get the menu to display below that error message which will still be there. Main FE page just crashes the server.

Now, before I end up fiddling the prog to death, I want you guys to see if it is an error on my side or a script problem?

This is not a bug of Typo3 but a problem of your server or its configuration.
The Quickstart package has been reported to work well normally.
So please contact our install mailinglist and report your problem there, perhaps anyone knows how to solve the problem.

I have used the Dummy package, worked through it, used the Template tutorial part 1 - everything is fine until the css style ext is used then it crashes again, did mail the author but no response....
The server package "Apache2Triad" runs everything fine (Mambo/PHPnuke?AngelineCMS/PHPX?ETC) - tested them all :) but we want to use Typo! Our second choice would be Mambo....... could you point me in the right direction as this is driving me nuts.
PS. Did subscribe to mailing list with this problem, but never had a response......

Grepping recursive through the Typo3 source tree nowhere found the "postjsmarker" in the files.
The "##postjsmarker###" looks like an unfinished "###postjsmarker###" so could it be just a typo (an error in the the template definition of that user)?
I would also say not a Typo3 problem.

The marker is in typo3/template.php.
Anyway, this does not seem to be a bug, therefore I close the thread.
