When in List View one can switch to a "extended" clipboard and gets checkboxes shown for each record. When checkboxes get marked the Copy Icon "clip_copy.gif" above can get clicked and the entries will get transfered to the clipboard. When then those entries get pasted somewhere else they will get Moved by default. Not copied.

So either the Icon should get changed to clip_cut.gif or the default action should get set to copy. I for myself have no preference but would think keeping the actual behaviour and just changing the icon is more intuitive
