Bug #14767
closedQuick Note expands improperly
0%
Description
When expanding (clicking the plus to show the contents) of the Quick Note entry in the task center, a little pencil icon is displayed below the entry, however the other entries in the task center are not pushed down causing an overlap of the pencil on top of the item below it. (In my case, "Web>List module/root" which is not the culprit, because after uninstalling the "User>Task Center, Root records (taskcenter_rootlist)" extension, the problem persists.)
Quick Note is the only entry in task center with this problem. The rest work exactly as expected.
Extension with the problem:
User>Task Center, Quick Note (sys_notepad)
PS Typo3 Version choices for bug report needs to be updated to include 3.8.0 final

After Uninstalling Quick Note and reinstalling (along with some other Task Center extensions, so that something is below it) the problem persists.
I'm fairly confident this is a problem in the Quick Note extension

I can confirm this bug. Would a screendump be needed?

This is most likely due too using a version of Quick Note that is not compatible with taskecenter changes in 3.8.0. Please make sure you have the most recent version from typo3xdev, and confirm the bug.

No feedback in a month, I assume the problems solved.

I apologize for the (extremely) delayed feedback. I've got involved in some other projects and have been unable to get back to the typo3 installation for a while.
The problem still exists as described above. I'm using Typo3 4.0 now, with sys_notepad 1.1.0
Thanks,
JF
PS I'll try to be more, um, prompt with my feedback ;-)

Resolved, unable to reproduce with recent versions (4.2-branch, trunk r5054, sys_notepad 1.1.0, taskcenter 0.2.0):
- The div with the edit pencil has proper css blocking with display:block, this should even work in IE6
- If this was a bug in older versions this was probably already fixed sometime ago
Please reopen if this bug is still reproducible in current versions. Please document the browser and version used, too.
