Bug #15097
closedAdd a file upload form to the fileadmin file list view
0%
Description
In the fileadmin file list view you can see the files.
Why not add a file upload form to the foot of this page so it is consistent with the pop up file explorer tool for uploading page content images etc.
Otherwise, I need lots of steps. Hover over the floder, click the upload, change number of uploads to say 3, then upload the files.
Better just add the form anyway to save clicks.
Thanks.

IMHo this is just a matter of configuration.
uploadFieldsInTopOfEB = 1

I don't think you can add this form with the configuration option... Just tried it.
IMO this needs to be implemented.

Peter,
No that is not what I was looking for.
That command relates to the upload form in the page content object popup box. It can of course be hidden, but it is not by default.
My bug/tweak is about adding an upload form to the bottom of the fileadmin list view. ie putting an upload form in the context of a user uploading in fileadmin.
At the moment you can only get to that form by using the context menu.

I talked with Michael about this, and we think this is no core feature, this can be implemented as an extension.
