Does it really open as small as in the screenshot?

The opening size of the window has been revised in version 1.1.2.

Note that optimal window size may be obtained by allowing the RTE to modify the size of windows in your browser options.

Hi,
after trying the new version of RTEHTMLAREA (1.1.2) , the probelm still exists. I found out, that IE is OK (ie_correct.gif), but Firefox makes the popup small (ff_not_correct.gif). I use the Firefix version 1.0.7. I have been also looking for settings as for popups in browser, see attached file (settings.gif) - I have no idea, if there is something more to set up.

Strange... Is this the only popup window that does not resize correctly?

Do you have the same problem if you use another language in the backend?

Your browser settings look fine.

Hi,

1. the problems are same also in EN language
2. incorrect width of popups produces click on these icons/items:
- insert table
- find&replace
- info
- remove formatting

Please try the following page with your Firefox browser and tell me is the Remove format popup opens with the correct size: http://www.fructifor.ca/677.html?&L=2

It is funny, "remove formatting" is still with bad size, but other three (insert table, find&replace, info) are OK. Maybe we can forget it, I think there can be some problem in my browser.

Please try again after clearing your browser cache.

Do you have Firefox extensions installed?

I have to give up for now. I have no idea why this is not working in your browser.

hi,

allright, anyway thank you for your time. This is not really bug, it does not affect funcionality at all, and maybe this is only at my PC/browser.

Hm, I was able to reproduce this with FF2 on TYPO3 4.2.1...

@Oliver: I am still unable to reproduce this issue, even if I disallow window resizing. Do you have any FF2 extensions installed? If you are not able to reproduce in FF3, what extensions do you have in FF2, but not in FF3?

I believe that this issue should be fixed by #9338:

trunk (revision 4104)
TYPO3_4-2 (revision 4102)

Please confirm.

Moreover, the opening width of the window may be configured in TYPO3 4.3.
