Description
Cannot collapse Pagetree ... but entring a page ID (for example the rootpage) into the "Edit Page ID: "-Box collapses the treeview.
I am not sure but this strange behavior popped up since secur-patching the apache2 php4 mod. :
from
rw-r--r- 1 root root 28806 May 15 09:33 apache2-mod_php4-52848
to
rw-r--r- 1 root root 31411 Jun 19 08:57 apache2-mod_php4-52905
best regards
PHP 4.3.10 (cli) (built: Jun 7 2006 01:16:08)
mysql Ver 14.7 Distrib 4.1.10a, for suse-linux (i686)
(issue imported from #M3699)
This also happened in at least TYPO3 3.8, I don't remember about 3.5-3.7. I guess it's not a bug, it's a feature ;)
Well, I would say that this is a bug in PHP. Or maybe a default behaviour has been changed due to a security issue - maybe I will look further into this issue tomorrow.
Recently there has been a bug in PHP, I think in 5.1.2. I don't know the impact of this bug anymore, but after an upgrade to 5.1.4 solved the issue. I also remember a bug in PHP that screw up MySQL-databases, in 5.1.3, IIRC. So maybe the PHP-bugtracker already shows this issue?!
btw.: My comment above was nonsense, I just didn't correctly read the description of the issue ;)
Hi,
the collapse Pagetree problem appears also in TYPO version 3.71.
And please take a look , if you can confirm this second "bad" thing
concerning this "update":
In many configuration fields
in the groups-Configuration-page oder user-configurations-page (for example: group-membership-field), there are
suddenly "new entries" with "Invalid value". And its not possible to unmark them.
After downgrade to prior apache2_mod_php4 version everything behave properly again.
The PHP-Patch:
apache2-mod_php4-52923
solves the issue
Closed as this is a PHP bug and not a TYPO3 bug.
