When using search box on the bottom of BE, UTF-8 chars become garbled and search doesn't return any results.
Here is the fix:
alt_shortcut.php:538
$this->editPage = trim(strtolower($this->editPage));
should become:
$this->editPage = trim(t3lib_cs::conv_case($GLOBALS['LANG']->charSet,$this->editPage,'toLower'));

Small patch exists, should be done for 4.1.
