Description

Currently the acronym feature is neither available in IE nor in the frontend.
Since proper markup for acronyms is one of the most important things in terms of accessibility (not only for screenreaders!) the acronym plugin should be available under all circumstances.

The Acronym feature has been enabled in IE7 in SVN TYPO3core trunk revision 2864.

Well, the IE part is resolved.

There is currently no plan to enable the feature in the frontend.
