If I uncheck "page content: disable RTE" in the allowed excludefields of a usergroup the checkbox is rendered in the BE none the less.

While this is true for other items as well (e.g. header position) these can be disabled via typoscript. But for the above mentioned checkbox I haven't found any typoscript to disable it.

Could this be fixed/added?

I can not confirm this for TYPO3 4.1.2:
If I disable "Pagecontent: Disable Rich Text Editor" for a usergroup, a user assigned to this group doesn't see this field.

Please check if the field is activated in a subgroup of your setup, this already tricked me several times.
