force charset does not work in mass editing

Description
i list multiple datarecords (85) and then i want to edit each field of column lets say "name"; there are special characters so we needed to force charset in localconf to utf-8.
- in the "name" textfield is the value "Garc?a"
- i enter the name value "García" in the textfield and save;
- in the "name" textfield is the value "Garc?a" again
if i do this in the single datarecord mask it works as i want and "García" is stored!

BUG SEEMS TO APPEAR ONLY IN SINGLE LINE TEXTFIELD NOT IN TEXTAREA

- database table tt_address
- works in singe textfield with database column varchar
- works not in single textfield with database column tinytext

Is anyone able to confirm a charset issue in multi record edit mode in current versions?
Are there any other open issues that describe similar behavior?

Resolved, unable to reproduce:
- I was unable to reproduce this locally
- No feedback for two month
Please reopen if this is still a valid problem, please submit details of your mysql and typo3 charset settings.
