Description

The new backend design offers repositioned buttons and icons which is by default a good idea. Unfortunately the new positions are sometimes less usable than the old ones.

Example: The icons at the end of each form have been removed completely, thus forcing the user to move all the way up to the top of the screen each time he wants to save, close or preview the document. This can be pretty far away when you are working on a 1600x1200 or higher resolution.

Same thing for the closing button, which was in the same block as the saving buttons before and has now been moved to the upper right corner.

I guess the idea was to create a more application like look and feel, but the current result is far away from being an improvement since it doubles they distances for each mouse action.

This is by design of the docheaders in 4.2. This will probably not be solved.

This is by design and acknowledged by the HCI team, afaik.
