Bug #18418
closedI tried to link a file(fileadmin) directly in the menu and receive an error
0%
Description
At first I created a new site of the type "Link to external URL"
After that I used for the URL type "http://".
and the path to the file was
my-website.de/typo3/fileadmin/1234.pdf ( *.jpg ).
When I click on the link in the menu, I get an error.
When i asked in a Board, someone told me that this worked with a stable version, so we think it might depend on the Beta..

This is your mysql error: "MySQL server has gone away"
Check your mysql settings and try to find out why this error occurs...

Resolved, no change required:
Either localconf.php mysql settings are wrong "server went away", there might be some network problem or something like that. This is not a core problem, please check your system setup.
