PHP Error after upgrade from 4.2.0beta3 to 4.2.0RC1

Description

On switching from 4.2.0beta3 to 4.2.0RC1
i get not page rendering any more, but this PHP Error in the logs:

PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function admin_get_charsets() on a non-object in /data/www/kunden/home/web1/html/typo3_src-4.2.0RC1/t3lib/class.t3lib_install.php on line 456

I dont know what to do to help debugging on this, if you need more informations please give me advice on how to get them.

Did you use COMPARE in the database section of the installer?

Sorry, but this is not possible.
While trying to access the install tool the same error occurs.
I switched back to beta3 and did a compare there (everything was up to date) but nothing changes in the rc1 version.

Solved,
a update to 4.2.0RC2 works fine
and does not throw this error any more.
