This is a browser security issue. You must configure IE7 to allow scripts to perform clipboard operations.
I can reproduce this issue only when clipboard operations are disallowed. Please confirm.
I cannot find the option in IE 7 to allow or disallow this.
I looked in IE7 options. advanced options and security options.
Could you please be of help?
Look again:
Internet Options -> Security -> (Internet, Intranet or Trusted sites) -> Customize this level... -> Script -> Allow programmatic access to the clipboard -> Allow, Ask or Disallow
I looked again, thanks for the help there.
It was on Allow.I tried it on 3 different computers. All did not copy and paste.
On the dutch mailing list there was a long discussion. no sollution
What if you add your site to the list of trusted sites?
Nothing changes. still not possible.
I work with the dutch version of IE 7
I don't think that working with the Dutch version would make any difference. I work with the French version.
What level of security did you set for trusted sites?
I may confirm that CTRL+C and CTRL+X do not work in IE6, nor in IE7. Only the Copy and Cut buttons work (and the Copy and Cut options in the browser menu). But I think that CTRL+V does paste.
Incorrect return to the browser fixed by the attached patch.
Fixed in SVN TYPO3core branch TYPO3_4-2 revision 3650.
