I have a site where the BE does not sit in /typo3 but has a different path. Generally this still works fine but I found out that I can expand branches in my page tree any more. I can collapse and expand in one session but a branch that was collapsed when I logged in will not be expanded.
All I know is that ajax.php gets called. I can see that in the logs. What it is that fails here, I haven't been able to figure out, yet.

The issue is very old, does this issue exists in newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?
