It would be great if the HTML of the function render_uploads of css styled content would be moved into typoscript.
It would help even if you just do stdWrap for all output, and put the current HTML in those stdWrap configurations. There are a lot of extensions doing this, so a solution already exists.

Patch for #2421, which handles this, is already in core list for discussion. Please test and give your +1 there.
