Custom tags get messed up in IE7

Description

This sounds the same as http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=5031 . However, I have this problem with TYPO3 4.2.1 (RTE is at 1.7.5) and in IE7 not IE6. I would have re-opened the other bug but apparently I don't have permissions for that as a simple reporter.

Anyway, here is the fault description again. I've introduced a custom tag which does not lead to any problems in FF3 or Opera. However, as soon as I save text with that tag in IE7, the tags become garbled. Instead of

<mytag>abc</mytag>

I will get

<mytag></mytag>abc</mytag>
