Description

At the moment the only possibility of changing the Items in the "New Content Element Wizard" is to xclass SC_db_new_content_el.

A Hook would be very useful to add more flexibility.

I plan to write an extension to configure the wizard conveniently that would use that hook.

I will provide a patch ASAP

As this report is very old, is the handling in newer TYPO3 CMS Versions (like 6.0/6.1) more like you expect it?
