Session Timeout after Login with Firefox

Description

After an update to TYPO3 Version 4.1.15 it is not possibly to login to the backend with firefox.

i always get a session timeout

No user logged in! Sorry, I can't proceed then!

with Internet Explorer 8 it works fine !!

I deleted all cookies, but the problem still exists...

Try setting
doNotCheckReferer = 1
cookieDomain = .mydomain.com

Still current? Have you tried again with at least TYPO3 4.4 or so? JavaScript enabled, no cookie-managers running or something?

Seems to be related to Firebug being active. Disable Firebug with Shift-F12 and see if this helps.
