Description

Hi, when editing a page content/creating a new one, I get the RTE-editor loading infinitely long
- running Typo3 4.4.2, problem after upgrade from 4.2.X
- rtehtmlarea 2.0.3

The weird thing is that everything works fine when maximizing the editor. Hence here are the debug outputs for both cases, JavaScript errors are none.

Working one (Full Screen): http://pastebin.ca/1912698
Non Working one: http://pastebin.ca/1912700

Please contact me to get BE login or more information you need.

I had the exact same problem. RTE won't load, but is fine when in expanded/full screen mode. My solution was to uninstall the date2cal extension. I think in 4.3 or 4.4 the core came with its own JS calendar, so you shouldn't need that anymore.

If you don't have the date2cal extension installed, try uninstalling all your non-system (especially backend related) extensions first and see if that helps.

Thx for the note. Since I use the frontend capabilities of date2cal I could not uninstall it, but you were right that it caused the problem.
At least version 7.2.0 (which was still installed and do to a version conflict to <typo3 4.3.999 not updated) creates this error. To fix this I upgraded to date2cal 7.3.1 and also excluded the backend integration, whereas the backend integration probably is not required to be set off to make the editor work.

Sounds like this is resolved :)

Maybe you could ask in the mailing lists first, before creating new bug reports, the next time.
