"Stay logged in" doesn't work after IP change

Description
When the user's IP changes (router re-dial-in), the screen "Do you want to stay logged in": [Yes, stay logged in], [No, log out] appears.
[Yes, stay logged in] doesn't work with changed IP adresses and the dialog reappears again and again.
The only way is to let the 30sec count down and then enter the password.

Hi,
as this issue is very old. Does the problem still exists within newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?
I had a similar problem with that dialog box, but as I've no changing IP address any more, I can't test.
