i've added a new doktype and want to replicate some of the shortcut functionality. as tslib_fe->getPageAndRootline() does not provide any hooks this is not possible at the moment.
the attached patch adds a new hook accessible via $TYPO3_CONF_VARS['SC_OPTIONS']['tslib/class.tslib_fe.php']['getPageAndRootline']
tslib_fe->originalShortcutPage is marked as protected which will probably lead to problems when using the hook in a multi-language enviroment (just a guess, didn't test)
i hope this patch makes sense and there's not a better solution to my problem.
