Bug #23884
closedMake "Include Access Lists:" Tables collapsible
0%
Description
Going over the settings of Include Access Lists: is a huge task or rather you have no good overview of all settings. It is my experience you do not need certain tables at all, like the tables (listing) in many cases. I would suggest to make all tables collapsible like is already done for pages. Ideally a collapsed version would show the active settings for that table. Seems like an extJS job ;-)

That would be a very nead usability improvement, but I think it is a difficult task at this moment right now (shortly before 4.5).
After the TCEform refactoring it might turn out to be "easier", so a perfect job for 4.6. ;)

I had fun with the rendering code yesterday.. besides that it su**s it shouldn't be so dependent on the refactoring, as it's at least pretty separated.
I'm working on the Access Lists rendering, but as the generated JS code is really messy, there should be some rewrite (later).

Thanks for the suggestion.
I didn't implement collapsing, but I made use of min-height and scroll - so this view now isn't that huge.
