when creating or editing a link in RTE, the opened layer window is resizeable in Firefox but NOT in IE 7 and 8. IE 6 i have not tested but i believe it is also not working there.

another problem is, that the default size of the opened layer has a completely different size in FF compared to IE. in IE it is very small compared to FF.

so the bad thing is: Layer in IE is too small and not resizable ;(

Maybe related to issue #0016571?

The sizes you are showing are not the default sizes. What size did you configure?

Did you clear the browser cache and the RTE cache?

I just tested with current trunk and 4.4.6-dev. The windows open with same size in FF3.6, IE8, IE7 and IE6.

Until recently, a JS error was raised in IE when the windows were made resizable. Seems to have been fixed. I don't know how, nor when.

The attached patches make the windows resizable in IE6-8.
